Why are you asking for so much?
The budget breakdown can be found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1iEqtlon1CLZtND0p1SRNmEB8bLl1ZUy99imydlTFA3w/edit?usp=sharing I am essentially only asking for money to pay freelancers so I am not making this game fully out of pocket the way I did with the first game- Any funds past the goal will go to stretch goals, more freelance work, and maybe occasionally paying myself to take a day off my regular job. Making games can be costly, and EF1 was and remains completely free!

Why are you asking for so little?
The flip side question from people who DO understand how expensive it can be to make a video game- Is $2000 USD actually enough? To which I say, well, I’m doing most of it myself. I have people I can lean on for help, and I have freelancers like Shoii making the memory CGs and the talented voice actors I’ve cast to give me a few lines for each character, but I don’t have any employees. So yes, it’s what I need to cover those specific expenses. It’s far from enough to pay a team to make a video game, but having any budget is a step up from last time!

Why is the fulfillment date December 2026- Is it really going to take 3 years to make this game?
Probably not! But I’d rather say it’s coming out ‘sometime in 2026’ than commit to a specific release date before I know the full scope of the project. I can’t really see it taking me longer to make than the end of 2025, but I’d rather be safe than sorry. DLC keys should come in early 2024, and physical rewards should be around May 2024 as well.

What if I Can't Support The Game / Buy It When It's Released?
Whether you live in a country under economic sanctions, limited income, or any other reason- I’ll give fans of the first game download keys for any subsequent games and DLC. All I ask is, if you happen to be disappointed, please abstain from leaving negative reviews when given these free keys.
If there is a digital reward tier you’d really like to pledge to, but you can’t afford it, I’m happy to exchange services. For example, if you’re an artist who can’t afford to pledge at the ‘Angelic Demon’ tier for your OC to make a cameo, a commission (or multiple) of equal value at your going rate would earn you all the digital rewards from the tier. Likewise for video editors, voice actors, writers, musicians… Anything you could provide to the world of Entropic Float, I’ll happily accept in lieu of currency!

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
